HOT TUBS, FIRE PITS & BBQs

WOOD-FIRED HOT TUBS are available (subject to weather conditions).  If freezing temperatures persist the Fair Farm staff may need to prohibit the use of the hot tub to ensure they are not damaged. Under these rare circumstances a refund will not be available.

Each hot tub is filled with natural still water prior to your arrival.  As the water is chemical free guests must not add bubbles or other liquids to the water as this may cause damage to the sensitive eco-friendly waste/drainage system.

Please shower before using the hot tub to remove sun cream and heavy makeup to prevent contaminating the water system.

Kiln dried wood must be used at all times to protect the burner. Despite a protective barrier the chimney flue will still get hot – PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH IT. Always use gloves provided when opening the burner.

NEVER LIGHT THE BURNER UNTIL THE WATER LEVEL IS ABOVE THE TOP OF THE BURNER. NEVER EMPTY TUB UNTIL THE WATER IS COOL.

Ash needs to be removed and is the responsibility of Fair Farm Hideaway staff.

BBQs & FIREPITS are available (subject to weather conditions) and are used at own risk.  The BBQ and firepits are for use on the stone patio area. NEVER place the BBQ or firepit on the raised decking area as this could damage the plastic coated non-slip surface. There will be a charge for any damage incurred.

Please ensure the BBQ is left in the same condition as it is found. NEVER leave unattended and ensure they are safe to leave before retiring for the night.

DOGS

Well-behaved, quiet dogs are allowed in some designated Shepherd huts as detailed on the website. There is a charge of £7.50/pet per day, paid prior to arrival
