**To assist the Fair Farm Team it is advisable that any of the Extras are requested at least 24 hours before your stay to enable them to make the necessary arrangements. Failure to do so may result in disappointment**.
As the hot tubs are wood fired, they take time to get up to temperature. We offer a pre-arrival service for your day of arrival only, where we make sure your hot tub is lit and looked after ready for your arrival for a fee of £10. If you would like this please let us know, as we would have to light the tub in advance of your arrival. Please make sure to stir the tub on arrival to assess the temperature and add more logs if you would like it hotter.
In the unlikely event of extremely adverse weather or extreme minus conditions management may prohibit the use of the hot tubs to ensure they are not damaged by the weather.

Canine companions are most welcome on site. We have a small fee of £7.50 per dog, per night.
We do politely request that dogs are kept on a lead at all times while on site and not left unattended in the huts under any circumstances. We also ask that you please refrain from letting the dog(s) on the beds and collect any dog mess and pop it in the bin near the car park.
We provide a screw stake for outside and a large metal water bowl at each of the dog friendly huts.

As many of our guests come to us on special occasions we as a team are always eager to make the experience memorable. We often have guests email ahead hoping to prepare a surprise on arrival for their partners.
We will decorate your shepherd hut with tasteful bunting, balloons and twinkling fairy lights, plus a bottle of fizz on ice in a beautiful silver wine cooler and a selection chocolates.
If you let us know the occasion you're celebrating then we can tailor the colour scheme and bunting to suit, and any names or special message you'd like written on the chalk board.
The cost of this is £30 and must be paid in advance. We can send you a payment link via email. Just send us a message and we can arrange this package for you, please don't forget to include your preferred email address.

Fire Pits are available to hire for £15 for the duration of your stay. This includes kindling, firelighters and logs. You will find logs under the side of your hut with an additional log store at the back of your hut.
Please take care and necessary precautions when using the fire pit and BBQ.
Please do not place the firepit or BBQ on the decking area as this will damage the surface.

Fair Farm Hideaway is situated around two well established coarse fishing lakes. Created over twenty years ago they contain a range of mature fish including Carp, Tench, Chub, and Rudd.
Initially fishing lakes for day fishing only the lakes are now for the exclusive use of the Shepherd hut residents. Guests can purchase a day ticket for £5 per day for one rod and £7.50 per day for 2 rods. Please ensure that you have an up-to-date fishing license obtainable from your local post office or from www.gov.uk
Please make sure to bring your own fishing gear with you as we do not keep any on site. Our Swaledale and Jacob shepherd huts are the closest to the lake so ideally located for a spot of fishing.

If you'd like a couple of extra hours in the hot tub, a bit longer in bed, or a long breakfast and soak up the last of the atmosphere before you check out on Sundays then this is great option for you. For a cost of £25 you can check out at midday instead of 10am, just message us to arrange this.
