Herdwick is easily accessible from the car park and is well placed to have a view of the lake as well as our family farm. In the Springtime you may catch sight of a pair of moorhens with their young near the water’s edge blissfully unaware of you watching them. Or you could see lambs skipping across the field.
Herdwick has a fully equipped kitchen with a combination microwave, fridge, electric hob, kettle, coffee machine and all kitchen essentials you should need for your stay.
It has a comfortable double bed with modern en-suite and shower facilities. Towels, mini toiletries and toilet rolls are provided. There is a smart TV where you can sign into your own Netflix and free WIFI throughout the site.
Outside you will have your own private wood fired hot tub and seating space with BBQ. All wood is included for the duration of your stay. We offer a hot tub lighting service for £10 for the 1st night only, please add this option whilst booking and provide an arrival time if you would like your tub lit before your arrival.
