Fair Farm Hideaway is a non-smoking establishment and accommodate adults only 18+, NO Smoking please inside the Sheperd Hut, however guests are able to smoke on the deck using ashtrays provided maximum occupancy of 2 persons/Shepherd hut, minimum 2 night stay.

Check in begins at 3pm however guests can arrive after 8pm as keys will be left in the door so they can self check in whenever they like. Please vacate by 10.00 hours on departure day.

Cars to be parked in the designated car park only – at their own risk. Fair Farm Hideaway will not accept any liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred
All booking payments are made in full prior to arrival; payments can be made by credit/ debit card over the phone or online.

A non-refundable charge of £40 for bookings cancelled up to 14 days before arrival. Cancellation within the 14 days of arrival incurs full charge.

No items of furniture, bedding, kitchen/dining equipment are to be moved from the Shepherd huts
Some Shepherd huts have a log burner. Despite a heat protection barrier the Log Burner flue will get hot. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH IT.
A Carbon Monoxide monitor is installed for your safety. Removal of log burner ash by Fair Farm Hideaway staff only.

Firepits and BBQs are available (subject to weather conditions) and are used at own risk. Please ensure the BBQ is left in the same condition as it is found. NEVER leave unattended and ensure they are safe to leave before retiring for the night.

The BBQ and firepits are for use on the stone patio area. NEVER place the BBQ or firepit on the raised terrace as this could damage the plastic coated non-slip surface. There will be a charge for any damage incurred.

The raised terrace area has a plastic non-slip coating. Despite this coating care should be taken at all times, particularly when the surface is wet
Wood-fired hot tubs are available (subject to weather conditions). Kiln dried wood must be used to protect the burner. Despite a protective barrier the chimney flue will still get hot – PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH IT. Always use gloves provided when opening the burner.

NEVER LIGHT THE BURNER UNTIL THE WATER LEVEL IS ABOVE THE TOP OF THE BURNER. NEVER EMPTY TUB UNTIL THE WATER IS COOL. Ash needs to be removed and is the responsibility of Fair Farm Hideaway staff. If freezing temperatures persist the Fair Farm staff may need to prohibit the use of the hot tub to ensure they are not damaged. Under these rare circumstances a refund will not be available. If any electrical appliances within the Shepherd huts appear faulty or shows any sign of damage, please contact us immediately or Tel: 01664 511 071.

Any breakages, wherever possible, will be dealt with immediately suitable to guest’s requirements. However, faults or issues reported at the end of stay cannot be addressed. The name provided throughout the booking will be solely responsible for the behaviour of your party and for any breakages or damages caused during your stay. A £70 soiling charge for huts left in an unacceptable condition. 

Please be considerate of other guests and keep noise to a minimum. We do request quiet after 23.00 hours. (Failure could result in removal from site)
Please assist with our recycling by separating your waste and place in the bins provided.

Dog Friendly Shepherd huts. Well-behaved, quiet dogs are allowed in some designated Shepherd huts as detailed on the website. A charge of £7.50/pet per day or £10.00 for two small dogs (small dogs due to the size of the Shepherd huts). Please do not leave dog/s unattended in the hut whilst guests go out for the day.

There will be a charge for any damage caused by your pet. Dogs must be kept on leads in public areas
Use of the website booking system requires the collection of personal information. By placing a booking it is a contractual arrangement between you and Fair Farm Hideaway. You have the right to request a copy of the information held. Please contact us by email
